The stage is now set for this year's Osun Music Awards.
It would be recall that, the award event, started in 2008, aimed at encouraging and celebrating talents both old and young, who have contributed in one way or the other to the music and entertainment Industry in Nigeria. Talented acts in Music, Dance, Video, Disc Jockey, Photography, and Broadcasting would be honoured in different categories at the event.
According to the concept and the project Coordinator, Oluwaseun Tanimola aka Bassman, the event is being schedule to hold on December 15th, 2013. Nomination has since commenced in the different medium to allow people vote for their choice artistes and other nominees for different category of awards.
The project Trustee, Olusola Ladi Bolaji also stated that, Voting will start December 1st and ends Devember10th. The event is packed by Muzik Planet Entertainment with the support of Osun State Government and Ministry for Information & Strategy under the leadership of Hon Sunday Akere. Governor Rauf Aregbesola will also be given a special award as Most Entertaining Grassroots Political MobiliserOlayemi Esan also called as Radio Girlfriend, a Broadacst Journalist and a Blogger(Pye's Blog) and Kunle Adediran a.k.a Dr Bengu bengu will host the event. Guest Artistes are LKT, Klever Jay, Oluwaseun (olele). Green Carpet will be handled by Pat Obil and Mary Sakadeli while DJ AY fresh will trill the guest with beautiful Mix.
