Senator Bukola Saraki was at the Yidi praying ground today at Ilorin, off asa dam road awaiting the usual rousing welcome and the symptomatic attendance of sychophants and leeches. Unknown to the wholesaler of the entire Kwara dynasty, there was more to the drama than expected.
Senator Saraki was ushered into the arena with stones and pure water satchets even when the prayers were held up to herald his arrival.
And to the consternation of the few unbiased public, his security opened fire to dissuade the protesting crowd. Unrelenting as they were, it was gathered that the self acclaimed political kingmaker in Kwara had lost his grip of the entire constituency.
It should therefore be noted that his flaws as retorted by an eyewitness were not in fact related to the current trials and travails in Abuja, but his indiscriminate handling of the entire Kwara State polity and economy.
As kingmaker, he had succeede d at crippling the economic and socio-political life of the State at large. And it is quite exhilarating to acknowledge that foe once the people of Kwara state would embrace liberation and total emancipation.
